Its that time of year again where talent scouts get their ears to the ground in search of the hottest bright young things to battle it out in Tranmere Alliance's Battle of the Bands.

The fiercely fought competition gets better every year, as do the prizes which are set to include equipment and a free £1,000 a day studio session in Parr Street.
