The journey to the dark undertaken by Angelus on the second series of Angel is, of course, hugely balanced out by the appearance of Gunn as a series regular. At long last - and for the first time in five years - at long last Angel is dealing with someone who looks able to take him down in a fair fight. Has anyopne written any Gunn/Spike slash yet? J August Richards - the scowl convinces, the smile melts, but that hat has got to go.
